Oramix promoted on June 29 the webinar “Cyberattacks: don’t be the next victim”. In this session, Carlos Caldeira, Cybersecurity Area Manager at Oramix, analyzed the growth in the number of cyber-attacks in Portugal, the role of social engineering, and the importance of pen-testing and user awareness actions as risk mitigation strategies.
The webinar also featured a live demonstration by cybersecurity consultants Beatriz Fiel and Tiago Machado of how an employee’s seemingly innocuous action can compromise an organization’s entire security.
“In 2022 we have seen, virtually every month, cyber-attacks against large and medium-sized companies. A click on the wrong e-mail can be enough to paralyze an organization”, said Carlos Caldeira, Cybersecurity Area Manager at Oramix. “In this webinar, we intend to demonstrate how aware and informed users can make all the difference, and present tools that can help IT teams detect vulnerabilities”, added the manager.
